My current obsessions, both on the internet and in real life. Kinda like Oprah, but with fewer free cars and less hysterical screaming. Updated periodically. Bizarrely television-heavy this time around.
There are so many, many fantastic Who links I could share. Really, they almost merit a "Favorite Who Things" page all unto themselves. But I'll restrain myself. FOR NOW.
BBC's Sherlock
First, I swear I'm doing some writing and parenting, in addition to watching TV. Second, yes, I freely admit to my preoccupation with British programs. Third, yes, I should be a member of the Steven Moffat Fanclub. Fourth, Sherlock is glorious and you should watch it. 'Nuff said.
I want to buy this and hang it over my fireplace, because it is amazing. And I love owls. And fat beats. OMG I'M THE LITTLE OWLIE.
Allie Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half
An oldie but a goody. I appreciate her humor and her honesty. The deliberately crappy MSPaint pictures are also endearing.
QI
Brilliant British quiz show, hosted by the immaculate Stephen Fry. I, tragically, am forced to watch it on YouTube, because it simply does not air on our side of the pond. HEY BBCAMERICA, QUIT CRAMMING YOUR SCHEDULE WITH GORDON RAMSEY AND CRAM IT WITH THIS INSTEAD. ALSO MORE DAVID MITCHELL WOULD NOT GO AMISS, KTHXBAI.
